Whispering about someone’s “secret” plastic surgery isn’t so common these days, as more people are considering nudging their skin – just a bit – in all the right places.
While opinions and conversations still vary widely when it comes to the topic of plastic surgery, it’s no secret that, unlike spending large amounts of money on designer outfits and luxury cars, investing in a facelift is an actual investment in YOU. Despite the fact that our bodies and faces will always continue to age, undergoing a facelift will keep you looking years younger than your actual age. A facelift lasts forever if you’re in the right hands!
Some personal research and education can lead you to the best physicians and the best results for you personally. For most prospective patients, the goal of a facelift is to look 10 to 15 years younger. The most expertly done procedure will maintain a person’s unique traits, and afterward they should still look like themselves – simply more like they did ten years ago. A pulled or stretched appearance is clearly not the desired result!
Anatomically speaking, a surgeon’s objective is to put facial tissues back where they once were before the aging process allowed them to droop. Some popular areas for rejuvenation are the neck and the jowls or jaw line, the cheek mound, the forehead, and the brows, but a facelift is not one size fits all. Each procedure should be prescribed and performed based on the individual’s interests and aging face changes. Computer imaging software can allow a surgeon to edit a patient’s facial features and demonstrate potential results so the patient can visualize the amazing finished product.
After you’ve healed from a facelift, it’s common to receive an abundance of compliments from friends and co-workers who can’t quite tell why you look so radiant and refreshed. Many people enjoy telling the world they’ve had a facelift, while others prefer to keep it a delightful secret, smiling when people inquire if they’ve lost weight or just returned from an incredibly relaxed vacation.
A facelift should not only achieve an impressive and gratifying result but having the procedure should be a reasonable process. Your expected downtime will be approximately one to two weeks, and there should be only minimal discomfort. Most people are out and about again after two weeks, looking fabulous, of course.
Sometimes the best referrals are from beautiful clients.
“I am so glad that I decided to proceed with my facelift and the selection of Dr. Scurry as my surgeon. One of the reasons I chose Dr. Scurry is because he is a facial plastic surgeon. Thanks to him, I look as young as I feel without a tight, drawn appearance. I look naturally younger, and my results exceeded my expectations.” (Cheryl)
Another plus, you can keep your face glowing with the assistance of a licensed aesthetician, which PENTA provides with expert Trish Welch. It’s a relaxing way to, again, invest in yourself.
“The best thing about their professional aesthetician, Trish, is how comfortable she makes me feel. Talking to Trish is like talking to my best friend – she helps me figure out how to look my very best!” (Amanda)
