47 hours a week. That’s the average time Americans spend working.
It begs the question: Do you enjoy how you are spending the majority of your time? If not, it might be time for a change.
If you’re looking for a new job, thinking about a career change, or re-entering the workforce, it can be difficult to do it alone. Many people turn to the guidance of a career coach, since professional advice provides the know-how and experience to make the best use of your time and resources to expedite your search.
You can benefit from a career coach if you:
• need support deciding on a career path
• need help finding a better career fit or job
• want to position yourself for promotion
• want more confidence in communicating what you have to offer an employer
• need an accountability partner to help you take steps toward your goals
• want to figure out why you aren’t getting the jobs you apply for

“Working with Carolyn was invaluable to me. When I re-entered the workforce after raising my children, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get a job – and I wasn’t even sure what I wanted to do. Fortunately, Carolyn was a life saver and guided me with useful resources, resume skills and lots of encouragement. Not only did her personality assessments help me hone in on my abilities and passion, but they showed me what types of careers were possible, as well as current statistics about people in these careers. It was eye-opening! As soon as I decided what I wanted to do, a job was offered to me. It’s a perfect fit and if it wasn’t for Carolyn, I never would have considered this line of work. I would absolutely recommend her!” – Marjorie
“Before I met with Carolyn, my situation was quite perplexing. I had been out of high school for two years and was still undecided in what career I wanted to pursue. Working with Carolyn helped me start the process to pave the way for a brighter future. I was able to identify goals and define what I wanted out of a career. My experience with Carolyn has been extraordinary. I would recommend anyone that is undecided to contact her and learn what their next step is!” – Elizabeth
