Camel City Boutique, a new treasure in town, continues to expand with fun, on-trend, fashions. Since opening in February, owner Kristin Reid has added great new lines such as Mud Pie, Erimish, It’s a Girl Thing and Corkys Footwear. Camel City Boutique is excited to announce that they are now the only boutique in North Carolina to carry Charleston Rice Beads by Candy Shop Vintage. This classically designed line of jewelry was originally created in 2014 by designer Diedre Zahl, and has quickly become a wardrobe staple of discerning fashionistas. Charleston Rice Beads are not only available in gold and silver plate, but in an ever-expanding array of colors and styles. They are designed to be worn at varying lengths and wrapped in different configurations. They are also beautiful stacked and worn as bracelets. Made in South Carolina, this line of beautiful, versatile jewelry is a must see at Camel City Boutique!
Kristin listens carefully to her clientele and searches out the latest, modern fashions, as well as the most up to date, fun ways to shop her boutique. She is now offering the cutting-edge, convenient, and quick way to shop your favorite brands online. You can now shop Camel City Boutique on Facebook through the “Comment Sold” online platform. It is fun and easy! The boutique posts weekly videos featuring the latest boutique acquisitions and Facebook followers can purchase in real time using the comment feature. Camel City Boutique reserves the purchased items and sends an invoice to the buyer. Buyers can then either come to the boutique and pick up their purchases, or Camel City Boutique will be happy to ship them. How cool is that?!
In addition to the most modern way to shop, Kristin is also adding a monogramming service on select merchandise within the boutique. Monogramming is available on a variety of products from such lines as Viv & Lou and North Carolina’s own Mainstreet Collection. Clients can order personalized monogramming on sun hats, purses, wallets, coolers and beach, tote, and travel bags. Monogrammed fashions and accessories are a fabulous way to make a personal style statement, and they make very special gifts.
While expanding her inventory to continually wow her clients, Kristin stays true to her concept of “A Boutique for Every Woman.” She carries a variety of styles in sizes X-Small to 3X, and features a special “Curvy” fashion section. She has cute fashions for little girls as well. So, from tops, T-shirts, dresses, bathing suits, flared jeans, and footwear to jewelry and accessories, she and her staff can dress each woman to best fit her style and size.
In addition to all the new, up to date fashion lines, Camel City Boutique also holds special shopping events for their clients. Follow the boutique on Facebook to stay informed about upcoming events such as Wind Down Wednesdays and Girls’ Night Out Shopping Parties, where you can enjoy casual shopping in the evenings while sipping wine with friends. The boutique will also begin hosting “Stylist” events with professional stylists in the store to best advise clients on color and style choices. Kristin will be launching a website for the boutique early this fall, where shoppers can purchase directly on the web, and where they can keep up with sales and unique shopping events.
In reflecting on her first seven months in business, Kristin notes that her success is based truly on the loyal customer support displayed by her clientele. “We appreciate every customer and are thrilled to have so many loyal clients. Each one of my staff has developed several personal relationships with repeat customers,” says Kristin. Customers know they will not only find quality, up to date styles at affordable price points, but will be treated with exceptional, personal service.
