Feta and Artichoke Dip with Homemade Pita Chips

I love a good dip. Actually, I love appetizers and would gladly have small bites as a meal any day. This dip is perfect for happy hour, game day even baby or bridal showers. It’s super creamy and delicious. Served with homemade pita chips it’s simple to make in a pinch — you may even have all of the ingredients in your pantry!

 

Feta and Artichoke Dip

Ingredients

1, 8 ounce cream cheese block at room temperature

1 small jar pimentos (or diced jalapenos), drained

1, 14 ounce can artichoke hearts, chopped

½ cup mayonnaise

3 tablespoons sour cream

1 garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 container parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Homemade pita chips (see below)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all ingredients together and pour into small baking dish. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until the dip is bubbly. Serve with pita chips or crackers.

 

Homemade Pita Chips

Ingredients

1 package pita

Olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut pita into triangles. Place pita triangles onto baking sheet (be sure to layer in one single layer – do not overcrowd). Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes, flipping pita triangles halfway through.
