In 2015, Kayla joined The Banner Team at eXp Realty as an assistant, which inspired her to earn her broker license. She began taking classes to earn her license when she discovered that she was pregnant, which caused her to question whether she should continue working towards her goal. Two years later, however, Kayla earned her license in 2017 and was ready to jumpstart her career in real estate with The Banner Team.

While the education Kayla received during the pre-licensing process was great preparation for her career, she highly values hands-on experience and believes that she learns the most on the job.
