Keep It Simple……Be Thankful!

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more.”  ~ Melodie Beatty

This has been a busy year. I have done interior redesigns, paint/color consultations, kitchen and bath updates, AND fabric consultations, along with window treatments and lots of shopping for furniture and accessories…….and I have written my monthly article for the magazine. As a small business owner, I wear many hats. Keeping up with my family, home and business definitely keeps me on the go.

At the season of Thanksgiving I am thankful for ReDESIGNS by Ava, a business where I am able to use the talents God gave me to encourage and help others create a beautiful home. I am very thankful for each job and each opportunity to meet a client. Seeing a decorating project come together is very rewarding. I am truly blessed!

Did you know?
…..that my redesign consultations cover more than how to arrange furniture, accessories and art?
…..that color consultations cover more than the selection of a room’s wall color?
…..that I cannot only tell you how, but also show you how, to rearrange your furniture, art and accessories on the spot?
…..that I can help you make informed choices when picking tiles, countertops, finishes and other items when you start a remodel or build a new home?

My consultations are chock full of information you can use right away. The result is easy-to-live with changes that can jump-start your decorating projects while stretching your decorating dollars. Sometimes it just takes another set of eyes to see your home in a new light, whether you are working with what you have, or starting from scratch.

Decorating Tip
Many of you will be decorating your Christmas tree this month to get ahead of the holiday rush. Here is a tip to help you create a beautiful Christmas tree:  When decorating your trees, add a beautiful topper. A topper sits atop a tree in place of, or in conjunction with, a star or an angel, etc. This is the focal point of your tree… make it beautiful! A topper can be large and sometimes outrageous. You can’t go wrong creating a topper as long as you follow this rule: More is better! Toppers are accented with long feathers, stars on wire, glitter sticks, florals, netting or ribbon, etc.

I am honored that you read my column each month. It is my pleasure to share decorating ideas to help you create a beautiful home. Give ReDESIGNS by Ava a call for an Interior Redesign or help with your next decorating project. Get to know more about ReDESIGNS by Ava at www.TinyUrl/meetAva
