Mind Your Water: The Safest Waters to Drink

That’s right! Just as most of us mind what we eat, it’s important to pay attention to what we drink, especially when it comes to the most important beverage to consume: WATER. Our bodies and brains are composed of more water than anything else. So not only should we make sure we are drinking enough each day, we must also be aware of the safest and healthiest waters to drink.

Spring water is among the healthiest and most affordable waters. It is naturally bottled at its source, the aquifer. What is an aquifer? Geology alert! An aquifer is a permeable rock that sits underground and holds freshwater, which eventually floats up to the surface. As the water floats through the rock, it goes through a filtration process, cleansing the water and adding healthy minerals into it such as calcium, potassium, and magnesium. All these minerals are needed to build and maintain good overall health.

Because spring water is bottled at the source, it is extremely pure, unpolluted, uncontaminated, and untouched by human hands until we unscrew the cap and enjoy the refreshing drink! There are wonderful benefits that come out of drinking spring water. This refreshing beverage oxygenates your blood cells, bringing oxygen to your brain and body. This oxygen in the blood maintains a healthy metabolism, helps your cells heal themselves, and eliminates diseases—during an unprecedented time like this, we need spring water! Spring water also balances our pH levels and helps develop strong bones and muscles.

Alkaline water. The term “alkaline” refers to the water’s pH level, which is normally 8 or 9. Alkaline water has a higher pH level than tap water and regular drinking water, which makes it so much healthier. Alkaline water is filled with natural antioxidants that rid our bodies of free radicals that cause serious diseases. This naturally occurring beverage also detoxes our bodies and cleanses us from impurities and toxins more effectively than regular drinking water! There are several other advantages that are reported to come with drinking alkaline water on a regular basis:

  • Strengthens our immune system
  • Helps with weight loss
  • Helps in the fight against cancer
  • Is helpful to people with diabetes
  • Reduce symptoms of psoriasis
  • Lessen symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease
  • Good for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol

Artesian water. This is a type of spring water that becomes artesian when the water naturally flows to the surface of the earth without the help of an underground water pump. Artesian water comes from an underwater well that houses the purest, freshest, and most natural water. Free from pollutants and contaminants, it is safe to drink right from the source!

Artesian water naturally contains minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sulfur. The reported perks that come out of drinking artesian water are below:
