Paparazzi Goes Pink

You’ve no doubt seen the pink fire trucks and done a double take over a pink ambulance or even a pink police car around town – proudly boasting the favorite shade as part of the “Care Enough to Wear Pink” campaign. Focusing on real women in our community, Triad Pink Heals is all about love, passion and support for those who need it most.

Sharing that same philosophy on a daily basis as they value their customers as individuals and strive to give their best 100% of the time, Bobbie Skinner and the staff of Paparazzi Hair Salon in Clemmons carry out their business with passion – whether it’s providing the best in salon services to their loyal customers or giving back within the community. “We network our customers together by advertising their businesses inside the salon to show our appreciation for being a loyal customer, as we also want to help their businesses grow!” said Bobbie. “In doing this, we are able to build a more prosperous community.”

26--pink-truck-SFWWith that same spirit of family she’s used in putting together a truly caring staff of professionals at Paparazzi, Bobbie was also touched when breast cancer hit close to home. During her stepmother’s treatments, the Triad Pink Heals folks shuttled her to appointments in the big – and yes, pink – fire truck!

“It really touched her heart,” said Bobbie. “It made it a little easier to endure with so much support around her, including people she had never met before!”

Best of all, the volunteers at Triad Pink Heals are just that – volunteers – and all the money they raise stays local. Their focus reaches out to patients with all forms of cancer – not breast cancer alone – and the impact has been tremendous. So, Bobbie and the Paparazzi staff decided to get onboard with their efforts and are sponsoring their own first ever “Paparazzi Goes Pink” event which will be held at the salon on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10am-2pm. Rain or shine, there will be more than 50 vendors present (and there’s still space available), ranging from martial arts, Zumba and yoga experts to bouncy houses for the kids, a variety of yummy food vendors and several independent representatives such as Younique, Keep Collective, Usbourne Books and Tastefully Simple. The staff hopes to raise not only money for Triad Pink Heals, but also awareness of the group’s work and how much giving of both time and resources helps to build an even stronger community. Raffle tickets are $1 each and will be sold in order to be eligible for the $25 giveaway item offered by every vendor in attendance. Come out on July 11th for a day of food, fun and community spirit! Bring your families and friends to help support the Paparazzi Hair Salon team as they, in turn, spotlight the great work of Triad Pink Heals with a fabulous summer fundraiser!
