The SkinCare Boutique @Nitsa’s Inspiring the very best you!

As a beautiful addition to the style and tradition the Triad has come to love from Nitsa’s Apparel, The SkinCare Boutique @Nitsa’s is an inspirational experience, thanks to the dedication and expertise of manager and lead esthetician, Shannon Hodges.

Located inside the beloved fashion and bridal boutique in Stratford Village, you’ll find Shannon pampering clients in her amazing beauty treatment suite, a soothing space dedicated to facials, waxing, lash and brow tinting, lash lifts, and other beauty treatments. She defines her professional goal simply: Enhancing a client’s natural attributes and helping them emerge to be the very best version of themselves!

Immersed in the business of beauty and esthetics since 2001, Shannon has struggled with skin issues herself through the years, and knows the value of an organic approach to clearer skin. An Aveda-trained expert, she researched endless options but proudly says Eminence Organics literally “checked all the boxes” on her ideal product line wish-list. The SkinCare Boutique @Nitsa’s is the only spa in Winston-Salem to carry the Eminence Organics collection, known for effectiveness, without compromising safety and care for the consumer.

“I’ve seen trends come and go, but Eminence is a line truly suited for all ages,” explains Shannon.

Since 1958 Eminence has offered only natural products, free of parabens, animal by-products, harmful colorants, petroleum, and other harsh chemicals. Certainly a bonus, their products are known for some fabulous, non-perfume and non-medicinal fragrances – including Shannon’s favorite: Strawberry/Rhubarb Hydrating Mask! Created from hand-picked ingredients with a wealth of healing properties, every product in the Eminence line is a consistent client favorite.

“The line is also very customizable,” says Shannon, a bonus for clients who might need firming or clarifying, but are also prone to breakouts. “Our lifestyle and food choices affect skin so differently, that no two situations are the same. I love when a client who has had lifelong struggles – redness, for example, or persistent acne – calls a few days after one of my treatments to say how great their skin looks and feels.”

The company also gives back – on a world stage – with their Forests for the Future Program, where one tree is planted for every Eminence product sold.

Shannon is also the expert at discovering the most flattering makeup look for her clients’ everyday routines, and for special occasions where they truly want to put a radiant face forward! The SkinCare Boutique @Nitsa’s carries Glo Skin Beauty Mineral Makeup, renowned for truly being an extension of your skincare routine, pure and long-lasting with no parabens or talc, and of course, it’s a cruelty-free collection. Blending vitamins A, C, E, and green tea extract, Glo Skin Beauty makeup also provides nourishing, antioxidant protection.

“The line offers shades for every complexion, and every product is actually good for your skin,” says Shannon, who cherishes the opportunity to help clients love what they see in the mirror.

“When you feel pretty – and positive about yourself – everything else falls into place!”

For Shannon, incorporating her passion for beauty and skincare into the wonderful Nitsa’s tradition has also brought her to her own “happy place” where she’s thankful for a family atmosphere among co-workers, and dedicated Nitsa’s owners George and Chris Bambalis. With the respected reputation and trust of the Nitsa’s team behind her, Shannon is openly excited about the future, which includes her own wedding next year, and many years of welcoming clients to rejuvenate in The SkinCare Boutique @Nitsa’s!
