SouI Talk Inspiring words for wise women…

Sometimes it seems we are bombarded through social media with inspiration we may or may not want (well-meaning, motivational, “feel good” phrases), and countless ways to improve every single thing about our lives. While being true to yourself is still – hopefully – your main mission, and sure, there’s always room for improvement, it can be daunting to read that multitude of daily affirmations.

So, as a writer and a woman always looking for inspiration, I choose my words carefully. I’ve gathered a few favorites that I believe are aimed at those of us (well, I’m hoping I’m not alone!) who wind through our busy days dodging detours and curves we hadn’t always planned, and who sometimes need a mental boost in the positive direction. If you read something that strikes home, follow my lead and print it to post on your mirror, desk, or dashboard – wherever you look each day to remind yourself it’s all good.

My current favorite: “Calm is a super power!” Hopefully you’ll find some new inspiration below:

“Self-care is how you take your power back.”

“Excellence is doing the best you can with the resources you have, in the circumstances you’re in.”
