BY DR. VIC KHEMSARA
As the summer sunshine brings fruit to our gardens, we at Summit Eye Care are excited to share the fruits of our labor as well. Dr. Khemsara has been working diligently with his team behind the scenes to bring an improved patient experience to the communities we serve.
Wondering what all of that construction has been in the Winston-Salem office? Soon we will be one of the few practices in North Carolina to offer office-based laser cataract surgery! Our patients will have the opportunity to enhance their vision in a calm, relaxing environment with familiar faces at their side. The new surgical suite will be outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment. Using the LenSx, Dr. Khemsara will customize your procedure to your eye’s unique characteristics, resulting in more predictable outcomes. Argos, Alcon’s new biometer, supplies end-to-end connectivity that will help deliver better outcomes for cataract patients through a more efficient workflow and improved accuracy. With the ORA (Optiwave Refractive Analysis) technology, Dr. Khemsara has the ability to measure, refine, and verify outcomes during the actual surgical procedure, allowing him to take cataract surgery to an entirely new level. The word is out, and our surgery spots are filling quickly! Call today to schedule your consultation.
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, we are delighted to share that Summit Eye Care of Mocksville will soon have a beautiful new spacious facility! The office will be centrally located in town and provide room for growth for us to better serve the community. While the building will be different, the exceptional patient experience provided by Dr. Laymon and his staff will be familiar. They are thrilled for the move in early 2021.
With so many things in question these days, our commitment to our patients has not changed. We are here for you. We are taking extra precautions in light of COVID-19 in both of our locations and in the planning of care in our surgical suite, which include: requiring masks, increased handwashing, and screening of symptoms for both staff and patients. We continue to work hard to make sure we bring you the most innovative and personalized care available.
