Visit Clemmons: Shop Quality Consignment Finds at Treasures Décor’s New Location

New inventory in the housing market might be few and far between, but new inventory at Treasures Décor is countless. Perfect for new homeowners looking to fill a new space with something old, or consignment connoisseurs in search of unique finds for their homes or offices, customers can rest assured that Treasures Décor has something in store for everyone.

Shop owner Tony Hinkle has been running the show since October 2016, when he returned to the Winston-Salem area after spending nine years in Kentucky. A former Treasures Décor customer himself, Tony was elated to have the opportunity to have a say in what furniture and décor fills the store floor. In March, Tony and his team moved Treasures Décor into a brand new location complete with 3,500 additional square feet and a striking storefront visible to customers at 2671 Lewisville-Clemmons Road. With added floor space, customers can spend hours browsing the new location’s designer furniture pieces and taking advantage of some of the best consignment deals in the Triad.

Interior decorators and realtors can easily point clients in the direction of Treasures Décor, as the store offers a constant influx of one-of-a-kind furniture and accent pieces. An on-site decorator on the Treasures team provides guidance to customers in need of guidance on color schemes, decorative themes, and finding items that match. With high-end consignment furniture, customers receive quality pieces that appear brand new for a fraction of the price. Treasures Décor even offers delivery to customers through a third-party delivery service for a small fee.

Part of what makes Tony’s job at Treasures so fulfilling is the tight-knit community of Clemmons, along with his loyal customer base. In fact, he sometimes sees customers return two to three times each week due to the ever-changing inventory in-store, as well as seeing customers who refuse to decorate their homes with anything other than items from Treasures Decor. As the store has expanded, so has its reputation, which has helped bring in new shoppers from Charlotte, Hickory, and other cities throughout the state. Much of the returning customer base can be attributed to the knowledgeable Treasures team, who are always enthusiastic and willing to help anyone who needs assistance, or even a simple, friendly conversation while browsing the shelves.

Not only is shopping at Treasures Décor aesthetically and financially beneficial to customers, but it’s also an environmentally friendly way to fill up your new living space. Rather than tossing old furniture that could easily be salvaged into landfills, individuals are able to pass their pieces on to be refurbished and reused by new owners. Tony and his team pride themselves in being selective when it comes to which consignment pieces enter the store, and customers relish in knowing that their purchases from the shop are of impeccable quality. As the saying goes after all, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure – especially at Treasures Décor.
