Welcome 2020 from Forsyth Community magazine!

2020 might be debatable as the beginning or end of a decade, but it’s no argument that something feels very different and special now that we’ve left the awkward “teens” and can say we’re confident in the new roaring 20s.

There is, however, no debate that Forsyth Community is welcoming the refreshing optimism of the ‘20s, and with that, the excitement that is the vibrant and growing community of Clemmons.  Every year brings more adventure and this issue is no exception: from milestones (Happy Birthday, Habitat for Humanity!) to stories from the heart (we see you, Clemmons Community Foundation) to connectivity (on the calendar, 11th Annual Community Day), we’re connecting you to everything exciting happening in the dynamic small-town village of Lewisville-Clemmons.

For this issue, we asked folks on social media, “Why do you love living in Clemmons?” and during this moment of new year reflection, I’ll ask you to do the same with the minor edit – “Why do you love Clemmons?”

  • Is it your street?
  • Maybe the school your kids go to, or the park you frequent with your pup?
  • Maybe it’s your favorite coffee shop, sandwich or dinner spot?
  • Or maybe it’s because you’ve started a business and you work, live, and play in a community that is large enough to thrive and small enough to plant your roots.

We encourage you to note that love, take the energy and life behind it and share it, and this issue, with a friend. If you’re new here, take some time to explore the issue and the community – as the relocation guide, visitor’s guide, and community resource, Forsyth Community has something for everyone, and we can’t wait to hear what you discover this year.

Forsyth Community is the official tourism and relocation guide for the Village of Clemmons and is distributed via Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce Office, Welcome Bags; Realtors; All 12 North Carolina Welcome Centers across the state; as well as in and around the Lewisville and Clemmons communities. In addition to this distribution, The Village Inn Event Center in Clemmons provides three-hole-punched copies for each guest room for their 66,000+ annual travelers to peruse, AND Super 8 on 6204 Ramada Drive, and Quality Inn & Suites on 6320 Amp Drive also distributes the magazine.
