Winston-Salem Dermatology and Surgery Center has been quietly growing and expanding over the past few years, and is now the Triad’s most acclaimed dermatologic practice. The female owned and operated business was founded by Dr. Chris Yuengel in 1997. Despite steady growth every year, Dr. Yuengel and her staff, which now includes the recent addition of a Physician Assistant and a Nurse Practitioner, remain dedicated to delivering individualized patient care.
Winston-Salem Dermatology and Surgery Center is one of only a few dermatologic practices in North Carolina to be accredited by AAAHC, an organization whose certification recognizes and signifies excellence in standards of care. The focus of the practice includes clinical dermatology, derm
atologic surgery, and cosmetic enhancement.
Treatments and Procedures
Winston-Salem Dermatology and Surgery Center was recently selected as one of only two Triad area cosmetic practices to offer their patients Voluma, the new, long lasting, FDA-approved filler. Other cosmetic injection and dermal filler products offered include: Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, as well as fillers such as Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra, Perlane, Restylane, Belotero, and Radiesse.
The Center uses the most current laser and radiofrequency technologies to treat a variety of conditions. These services include laser tattoo removal, laser hair removal, skin resurfacing with Sciton, and skin tightening with SkinTyte and Exilis, as well as with intense pulsed light and broad band light treatments. In addition, the Versapulse laser removes vascular lesions such as telangiectasia and angiomata. Lasers are safe, effective, and have many applications to help your skin reach its full potential.
Cosmetic Skin Enhancements
Winston-Salem Dermatology and Surgery Center offers a wide variety of skin enhancement procedures and services. Some may be a one- time application, while others may require multiple treatments.
These include: sclerotherapy, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. Dr. Yuengel was the first medical specialist in the Triad to offer Cool Sculpting by ZELTIQ.
